I admit to have been shirking from my self-assumed responsibility- reporting all shaadi-related news and gossip- mostly because I have been caught up in the love story of a high school girl and a 17-going-on-110 vampire. But though this blog would, subconsciously be celebrating love in all its forms, this seems to far-fetched to ponder over. At least here.
So moving on to the news first.

Working committee for planning and strategizing formed

Dehradun; January 2009: In lieu of Rads’ wedding on April 27, a core team of 3 members was formed on the initiation of Ramu’s mom. The purpose of this committee is to sit under the sun during the first half of the day with a diary and to jot down all marriage plans made in between gossips. The committee comprises Rads’ mom, Ramu’s mom and choti buaji. The venue for these meetings is Rajendra Nagar and by peeking over the terrace, I am sure will be able to get snippets of what conspires during these meetings. Core committee members are especially excited today by the arrival of another, guest member- Choti. Detailed report may be expected by the end of tomorrow since I still have about 200 pages of the vampire-human love story to finish.

Sonu planning to wear red saree for the wedding: sources

Dehradun; January 2009: Well placed sources within Sonu’s meagre group of “insiders” have confirmed that Sonu plans to wear a red saree on April 27. Elaborating on her idea, Veera said on conditions of anonymity that we have obviously disregarded that Sonu intends to wear a heavily embroidered blouse and a plain blood- red saree over it. When we confronted Sonu, she tried to laugh indifferently and avoid answering that- only the laugh sounded hysterical and embarrassed. Which means it is probably true. Veera also said that Sonu intended to join the gym for a few days to lose the ugly tyres on her stomach, though she sarcastically mentioned Sonu’s inability to wake up anytime in the morning as a hinderance for the same.

far from sounding like an investigative journo, you remind me of one of those nat geo guys, sitting in the middle of the savannas & covering unbelivable wildlife behaviour .. the whole incredulous hoarse whisper thingy - 'shh .. we creep up the nearest chhat and observe a meeting of the alphas' :D
:D Only, their work is child-play compared to what I do... This particular pack that I deal with has extremely well-developed senses.
